AGAPE
Mission statement
Our goal is to provide services for the blind and visually impaired, and to promote a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Together we are helping the blind to thrive and navigate their vision challenges, while advocating, educating, and providing resources throughout our communities.
Purpose Statement
We serve as a role model to blind and visually impaired individuals attempting to navigate the world in this challenging reality. We advocate on behalf of those with vision challenges in the areas of education, health care, and career and earning opportunities.
We strive to assist law makers in advocating for legislation that benefits those with visual impairments. We also work towards educating the community about blindness issues. Our fundamental purpose is to have a positive and substantial impact on all blind and visually impaired individuals and try to normalize a sometimes-abnormal circumstance.
