Welcome to AGAPE!
What would your world look like if you couldn’t see the blossoming of a red rose or the green
grass that children play in or the brown eyes of a newborn baby? What if there were no audible
traffic signals to assist a blind or visually impaired person when crossing the street? What if there were no laws legislating hiring of disabled individuals and providing the rights to all eligible persons regardless of your disability, etc.? These concerns, and many more, were the basis of a group of people with a passion to make the world a better place for the blind and visually
impaired.
AGAPE Council of the Blind, an affiliate of the Missouri Council of the Blind (MCB), is a 501(c)3 organization. We are here to promote the overall well-being of all legally blind individuals, and provide a positive influence throughout the community. We actively enlist individuals to participate in the legislation of health, education, and earning opportunities for the blind and visually impaired.
Prayer line
There will be an uplifting Bible scripture, an opportunity to discuss it, and a time to provide your prayer request. We then have a prayer that covers multiple issues such as sickness, peace of mind, peace in our world, wisdom and understanding. We welcome you and any other guests to take part in our prayer line.
